Tech Info (techinfo.cashfortechs.com) is operated by Cash for Techs, Sacramento, California. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this site; the main site, cashfortechs.com, has its own policy.
What we collect
- Offer requests. When you use a form, we collect your name, mobile number, the device and any details you type, plus the page you sent it from. We use this to text you an offer and arrange a meetup.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help people. It records pages viewed, approximate location, device type and whether a form was sent. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
- Owner reviews. If you submit a review, we keep the content, your display name, your email (never shown) and any photos. Location data is stripped from photos on upload.
- Server logs, including IP addresses, kept for security for up to 90 days.
How we use and share it
- To reply to your request by text, arrange a meetup and complete a purchase.
- To run and improve the site.
- Offer requests are relayed through our form-automation and SMS providers so a text can reach you. Analytics data is processed by Google. These providers act on our instructions.
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We disclose information when the law requires it. As a licensed California secondhand dealer, Cash for Techs records and reports purchases to law enforcement as required; that record is made at the meetup, not from this site.
Text messages
Sending a form is your request to receive a text about it from Cash for Techs. We text you about your offer and meetup, not marketing. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
Your rights (California and other states)
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or correct it. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out of sale or sharing, and you can also use the Do Not Sell or Share page. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Residents of Texas, Virginia, Colorado and other states with privacy laws have equivalent rights.
Retention
Offer requests are kept for 12 months after the last contact. Review contact details are kept while the review is live plus 12 months. Spam is deleted after 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Sellers must be adults.

For any privacy request, use the form on any page with “privacy request” in the details box, or text the business number shown on the Sacramento page. We respond within 45 days.
