About Tech Info

Tech Info answers one question for every device: keep it, sell it, or upgrade? It is published by Cash for Techs, a Sacramento buyback business that pays cash for used phones, tablets, laptops and watches at local meetups.

Why a buyback company publishes reviews

We handle hundreds of used devices a year. We see which models still have strong batteries at four years old, which screens crack first, and what every model is actually worth on a given day. Most of that knowledge never reaches the people deciding whether to sell. Tech Info is where we put it.

What you will find here

  • Reviews: what a device is worth today, how it holds up, and a plain verdict.
  • Compare: upgrade math, head-to-head comparisons, and honest “ways to sell” comparisons (coming soon).
  • Trending: launches, recalls and price changes, each linked to the devices they affect (coming soon).

Where we operate

Cash for Techs meets sellers in person in Sacramento and Oakland. We are a licensed California secondhand dealer: purchases are recorded and reported as state law requires, a government photo ID is needed at every meetup, and we cannot buy devices that are reported lost or stolen.

Honesty rules we hold ourselves to

  • Every page says who owns the site. Read the disclosure.
  • Every offer is dated, and the one you get is confirmed by text before you meet.
  • When keeping a device is the better choice, the page says so.
  • Customer reviews are never hidden for being negative. Read the review policy.
